In 2013, I began my coaching business with a mission!
I wanted to help women in their metabolic recovery and self-discovery.
I wanted to train women like athletes and teach them how to put the passion back into lifting again.
I wanted to work with competitors that were insistent that a trophy was not worth their health declining.
I wanted to teach women that they are empowered to leave the sub 'culture' mindset behind for real life.
I wanted to be a part of change.
At times it has been a lonely journey and other times it has been so incredibly satisfying.
I have endured the fads and circle jerk of science being butchered for insanity.
I have inquiries in my inbox of women taking tic, tac, toe for breakfast with nowhere to go.
I have had competitors leave, only to return when the secret sauce is a massive rebound and a screwed-up relationship with food.
I have had many reasons to want to quit and turn my back on these core values and my mission statement.
Trust me, at times it is tempting. But I won't.
I refuse to sell out on my clients or myself to keep others comfortable.
I have had twenty years of Real-world experience that cannot be taught in a text book or a few contest preps.
I have watched women that once loved the gym never enter it again in fear of judgement that their bodies are not “show ready”.
I have had many conversations with fellow competitors that continue to battle their relationship with food.
For me this is not about macros, competing, and booty building--- although it may appear that way at times.
Sometimes it is not sensational or a big transformation for everyone to see.
It is my passion, my real, and my lane.
It is the moment a client finally goes out on date night without fearing food.
It is the Mom that finally puts her bathing suit on at the pool.
It is the client that is no longer quantifying every bite she eats or step she takes.
It is the clean bill of health.
It is the competitor that says, "Please help! I need a better way!"
That is and always will be, the way I coach.
